Your first conversation

Your First One-on-One Video Chat, Step by Step

A first call feels easier when the practical questions are already answered. Give yourself a moment to set up, choose what you want to share, and begin with one simple question.

Before you open a call

Choose somewhere you can hear clearly and speak without rushing. Put your phone or laptop on a steady surface rather than holding it close to your face. Look at what is visible behind you and move personal documents, address labels, or work information out of the frame.

You do not need a speech or a polished introduction. Your first goal is to see whether you both enjoy talking. Start from the one-on-one video chat page when you are ready, and read any entry or account prompts shown for your session.

Get your camera and sound ready

A two-way video call needs a camera and microphone that your browser can use. Check the preview before continuing. A light in front of you is usually more useful than a bright window behind you, and headphones can help reduce feedback between the microphone and speakers.

If the preview is blank or no sound is detected, review the browser’s permission for this site. Another call or camera app may already be using the device. Work through the camera and microphone setup guide before repeatedly starting a new match.

What happens during matching

Random matching introduces you to a woman you have not met before. Follow the on-screen matching status and begin your conversation when the connected view appears. A clear preview and comfortable sound help you settle into the introduction.

Free matching gets you started. Your session displays the call price, coin balance, and any introductory allowance, so you can follow the conversation and choose how much time to spend together.

Keep the first minute simple

Say hello and introduce yourself in a few words. Ask an easy question about her day, a song she likes, or a place she would enjoy visiting. Give her time to answer, then share your own answer so the conversation has somewhere to go.

If you feel nervous, slow down rather than filling every pause. A brief silence is normal while two people get used to each other. Our first conversation starters include follow-up examples that help you stay curious without turning the call into a list of questions.

Ending a call and trying again

You can choose to end a conversation when you are ready. A short, polite goodbye is enough: “Thanks for chatting; I’m going to head off now.” You do not need to share a phone number or explain personal circumstances to finish a call.

If a call ends because of a connection problem, close the previous session using the product controls before trying again. Keep one active matching tab open and check that your camera is no longer in use elsewhere. A fresh conversation should begin with a clear session state.
